💫 I first developed an interest in product design when I started working at Google Health. Several research projects there made me realize that there is more out there than the confined walls of a hospital setting (8 years of experience working as a registered nurse on a cardiac unit). Through taking actionable steps to immerse myself in the UX/UI world, I realize more and more how much I enjoy many aspects of the design process.

💫 Both nursing and UX require high empathy and problem solving skills. Being in healthcare for seven years, I am confident of the transferable skills that I gained and have brought to the table in UX: perseverance, collaboration, compassion, communication, integrity, flexibility, and more. 

💫 As a product designer, I am hungry for growth, I am eager to learn, and I enjoy connecting with others whether it be a social setting or a professional setting. I grew up in San Diego and am currently based in the bay area. You can often find me volunteering for a local homeless outreach, traveling, eating at my favorite taco place, or playing with my adorable dog.
